About us

Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. EIS manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,500 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
About the function
The main focus of this function is to deliver school funding calculations, approvals and payments for schools. This includes providing high quality data analysis and reporting to support planning and decision-making and providing informed, insightful and constructive advice in response to funding queries. You will also co ntribute to a range of project initiatives to ensure appropriate policies, processes and systems are in place to support the school funding function.
About you
To be prosperous in the function you will need the following:
   » Advanced MS Excel expertise and a passion for working with numbers
   » Well-developed analytical expertise and practice in presenting and reporting data
   » An aptitude for solving problems and taking advantage of opportunities with high attention to detail and accuracy
   » A can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
   » To enjoy the challenge of a dynamic and fast paced environment
