?Wellbeing by default? is our focus in the work on culture and strategy for wellbeing.
Do you care passionately about creating a great place to work? Well, this is your opportunity to jump in and make a difference to our culture and our people’s practice at Te T?h? o te Ture Ministry of Justice.
This is a brand-new permanent function, heading up our Wellbeing team within Workplace Culture and Learning (WCL). This is a new team for you hire so you get to build a team to deliver our brand new Wellbeing Strategy – Hei pu?waitanga m? t?tou katoa – ‘Flourishing for all’
Your opportunity
   » Work on a variety of day to day and project activities in support of our brand new, co-designed Wellbeing strategy and connected draft three-year plan
   » Work collaboratively with other members of our new Wellbeing team and the wider Workplace Culture and Learning team – especially Principal Advisors for leadership abilities and Talent Development, Culture, Values and Engagement, and Diversity and Inclusion to ensure Wellbeing is fully integrated and fit for purpose in all our work
   » Build great relationships with our Health and Safety team to develop a cohesive and holistic approach to our people’s physical and mental safety at work

To be prosperous in the function you will need the following:
   » Great relationship building expertise across teams in People practice, Health and Safety and Risk
   » practice in undertaking research, analysis and presenting recommendations
   » practice with measurement strategies/data driven insights would be highly desirable
   » practice in managing contracts, vendors and procurement would be highly desirable
   » An orientation toward design thinking and co-design
   » capability to relate effectively with managers and staff at all levels
   » A bias towards action and collaboration
   » Some project (ideally Agile) management practice

income range
The appointing income for this function will be between $63,019 and $82,295 located on expertise and practice
