The purpose of this position is to support the Manager, Internal Audit and Senior Auditor by assisting with development of an annual programme of audits, delivery of the audits of insurers under the upcoming Insurer Response Model (IRM) assurance framework, other ad-hoc (targeted) reviews, and support of our co-source internal audit partner in the delivery of their audits.
this function will involve:
   » Providing independent assurance over the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls
   » Providing insights and reporting over the effectiveness of the implementation of the Insurer Response Model by our private insurance partners in key business workstream areas
   » Proactively working with the business to improve the control environment while maintaining independence
   » Enhance the internal and external image of the Risk & Assurance team by carrying out all tasks in a professional and effective manner
   » expertise of internal auditing frameworks, practice in auditing techniques and use of auditing tools and software
   » practice in conducting audits and process reviews
   » practice of information technology systems and best practices
   » practice in conducting audits and process reviews in a range of business functions and industries
   » practice or exposure to the insurance industry is desirable but not essential
