Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The University of Auckland (Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences) is seeking to appoint a Research adjunct to help with the COMPASS study. This is a 2 year project exploring the practiccapability of a mental health chatbot for adolescents with type 1 diabetes.
The FTE is 0.8 for the first year and then 0.6 for the second year, so this position would work well for a mental health professional or student trainee looking for a part-time research function.
The primary responsibilities are to support the research team with applying for ethics approval, assisting with recruitment of adolescents with diabetes, assisting with conducting focus groups, data collection and other research-related tasks.
The function will ideally suit Somebody with a research background who has practice working in healthcare settings. practice with University of Auckland research processes is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree, practice conducting research and familiar with Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and ideally have practice working with children and youth living with a chronic health condition.
