Offer: Lead Advisor Network:MinEducationJob description:Job Description»Lead Advisor Network»Sector Enablement and Support – Hawke’s Bay/Tair?whiti We have an opportunity for you to bring your knowledge, expertise and practice to a Lead Advisor Network function in the Hawke’s Bay/Tairawhiti team. Reporting to the Manager Education and primarily located in our Napier office, this is a pivotal function working across the Hawke’s Bay/Tair?whiti region with our schools, kura, communities and iwi to shape our network to best meet the needs of the region. The Lead Advisor Network will be responsible for providing strategic advice on the long term and medium-term structure and design of the school network and practical implementation of that strategy. This will include proactively engaging with significant groups to identify changing needs within the schooling network, using network information to identify trends and risks to support operational planning and prioritisation of work across the region, informing the Education Network team of sector insights and supporting regional change initiatives. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing and implementing initiatives to lift student achievement and bring about change for and with schools and communities. You will need the following: » An in-depth knowledge of factors influencing educational performance, studentachievement and participation inboth English medium and M?ori medium school sectors » practice building strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders » practice interpreting data and providing insights in a significant way » Ideally some practice with leading projects and teams » practice in the education sector and public service would be advantageous » The capability to build and maintain a sound knowledge of the wider regional environment » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi » To build relationships of trust by being honest, respectful and well-informed.
