It’s an exciting time at Te Kura and We are seeking for an innovative and collaborative Team Leader to join the Southern Region. You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of Big Picture principles and implementation, great interpersonal skills and have a proven record of managing a group of teachers, plus a track record of working positively to deliver on organisational strategic direction. You’ll manage the team, assist with building a dynamic teaching and learning environment and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and pastoral support to our ?konga (students). This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their skills in: leadership abilities and management, including performance and staff development enabling ?konga (students) to achieve planning and assessment effective relationship management influencing and supporting the professional practice of Kaiako building strong relationships that hold a team together and enabling effective collaboration connecting and working closely with others There is a teaching component to this function so candidates must be trained teachers with current NZ registration and significant qualifications.
