About our group and team As a Senior ETL Test Analyst- Data Warehouse, you will join the Ministry’s Testing Services team, which forms part of a much wider ICT capcapability. About this function located in Wellington, this function is a permanent vacancy and an exciting opportunity for a Senior ETL Test Analyst to be working across initiatives in our Data Solutions and Warehousing team part of our Evidence, Data and Knowledge group. About you: » Are you an practiced Specialist Tester looking to join a supportive team? » Do you have skills in ETL and data testing within a Data Warehousing environment? Then we would like to hear from you! As the ideal candidate, you will bring as follows: » In depth knowledge and prior practice working as a Senior Test Analyst within a Data Warehousing environment » Significant practice in testing data and data transfers » In depth knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) » Good knowledge of how testing of data migrations is performed in a data warehousing environment » practice or consciousness of data migration testing practices and tools » broad SQL skills » practice with Power BI will be an advantage » Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written particularly business writing and reporting, ensuring your communication is always clear and concise » Be an excellent team player who is inclusive, collaborative and supportive » The capability to demonstrate your motivations to work in an environment that is committed to benefit our education system.
