We have a great opportunity for the right person to join our Canterbury and Chatham Islands Education team as an Education Adviser supporting a group of schools in the Canterbury region. We will give you the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders, boards of trustees and Communities of Learning to achieve prosperous educational results for all students. You must be able to influence others and be able to back this up with knowledge, skills and practice in improving student engagement and achievement. You will have an appropriate tertiary qualification, a good knowledge of legislation significant to education and, in your function, will bring skills in: » building and maintaining prosperous relationships » using your analytical and evaluative skills to work with data and information to deal with complex problems and make decisions » an knowledge of the barriers to engagement » working with others to support and implement change initiatives.
