ACC is one of NZ’s largest and most prosperous fund managers and is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its very well-regarded NZ equities team.
The position is Wellington located and requires a minimum of four years hands on practice (preferably more), in the analysis of listed equities. The ideal candidate is likely to have practice in the buy or sell side and looking for a change in function or may have recently returned to NZ. NZ residency or a current working visa are also prerequisites.
To be prosperous in this function you will also need the following:
   » Strong financial/analytical expertise and the capability to convert your analysis into a view on whether current share prices offer opportunities
   » A availability to defend and debate your findings with other members of the equity team
   » A good appreciation of how financial markets behave and a working expertise of NZ securities laws
   » Familiarity with a number of NZ listed companies and/or sectors
   » An enthusiasm for investing and the share market
