Our Katikati (Bay of Plenty) located team delivers plants of high productivity and performance over a range of fruit and berries. We provide genetics, plants and production systems, along with marketing inputs. Elanza Fresh offers employees a compensateing and dynamic place to work, allowing employees the opportunity to specialise in plant propagation and crop production. This position is an entry level function for those wanting to develop a career in horticulture. Previous horticultural practice is not required, employees will be trained to carry out tasks required. Listing description · Propagate plants from seed, cuttings, runners, etc. · Plant tasks, including planting, moving, pruning, training/tying, weeding and clearing debris. · Other general horticultural tasks as required, including maintaining nursery grounds and cleaning equipment. · Maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees by following safety and health rules and practices and reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe equipment, practices or conditions. candidates will: · have a passion for plants. · want to develop their own horticultural expertise. · enjoy working outdoors. · have a minimum of 3 years work practice. · be physically fit. · have reliable transport.
