About the function The purpose of this function is to meet the needs of people and whanau accessing hopsital services using contemporary nursing care, which is safe, appropriate, and effective. The care is located on comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is person/wh?nau centred, culturally appropriate and evidence located. Quality improvement and patient safety is an important part of this function. You will also need to respond to the changing needs of the hospital, performing other tasks as required.
