We are seeking for a head housekeeper to be responsible for the 21 rooms on site, encompassing everything from bunks in a shared dorm through to our EcoScapes. With a low carbon footprint and high environmental standards we continue to strive to be the best we can be and are looking for the same in those that join the team. Hospitality and tourism has had a bad wrap. At Kinloch you will have a great deal of sunshine in your day as you will be in and out of doors with all positions from housekeeping to front of house and this keeps you fit and healthy. Work is highly social with likeminded guests and staff. Staff are able to have accommodation onsite at $20pp per day, including bills, in a shared staff house that includes wifi, bills and is fully furnished. You can access our yurt for yoga, hot tub, bikes, kayaks etc. we want you to love here as much as we do. We offer living wage for full-time staff who have practice in their field, and profit sharing for those staying long-term. Our core purpose at Kinloch Lodge Ltd encompassing our restaurant, Glenorchy Lake House and Trading Post, Kinloch Wilderness Retreat and EcoScapes is to connect people with nature. Whether this is through their “journey into nature’ as day visitors at the Trading Post or Kinloch, our overnight guests who “restore in nature” or through our retreats or the products and books at the Trading Post that connect people with the “nature within”.
