Business Continuity and Emergency Management sits within the Business Services function of the Business Enablement and Support Group (BE&S). Business Services support many of the corporate functions of the Ministry.
About the function
The Senior Advisor – Business Continuity & Emergency Management works within the BCM/EM team to develop and build the Ministry’s capcapability for business continuity and emergency management and contribute to the Ministry’s response to disruptive events.
About you
To be prosperous in this function you will have the capability to build effective relationships and credibility with internal customers at all levels across the Ministry and other government agencies. You will be someone who cares about emergency management and business continuity and can inspire others to feel the same.
You will also offer:
   » a demonstrated interest in Business Continuity and Emergency Management
   » knowledge and knowledge of emergency management within a government context
   » the capability to gather and interpret information, conduct analysis and identify gaps and the capability to influence others to enable delivery of the BCM/EM programme
   » high-level interpersonal expertise and the capability to be calm in high pressure situations
   » a mature approach to business resilience and an capability to communicate clearly and precisely
   » BCI or other industry qualifications are preferred.
