Auckland Council is seeking a Pasifika Service Design Specialist. this function will work in the Connected Communities Department located in our Regional Delivery and Partnership team. You will seek to activate the rich wisdom of ancestral and indigenous knowledges that promotes a culture of co-production and collaborative participation in the team and in the community.
As the Specialist you will lead the design and engagement work with Pasifika Aucklanders to develop and implement an Auckland Libraries success framework. The framework will incorporate an approach to measuring strategy implementation and progress and include a recommended approach to continuing research and engagement that is culturally grounded, and Pasifika centred.
this function maintains the integrity of participatory and indigenous methodologies, has a deeply rooted knowledge of their underpinning principles, and builds and strengthens this knowledge within the organisation and team.
Please note, this function is Fixed Term to 27 June2022.

You are ready to develop a practice for social impact from a heart of indigenous values and methodologies, grounded in kaitiakitanga and activated to the benefit of the social, cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing of the Pasifika's T?maki Makaurau community.
