Clinical Resource Nurse- Inpatient wardJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Permanent » » » »Permanent- 0.8 FTE- Mon- Fri- 8 hrs/day- rostered shift »Free parking, top income »Help with PDRP The Position • The purpose of this position is to provide proactive clinical skills in the delivery of surgical services within the theatre suite. • The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) will ensure the effective and efficient running of their ward, that staffing levels and mix are appropriate and that all necessary clinical supplies and equipment is on hand. • The function ensures that the operational functions of the wards are managed seamlessly at all times. • The CRN will respond positively to specialists’ requests and effectively manage the fluctuating demands of a busy surgical service. • The CRN will work collaboratively with colleagues to actively support the CEO to achieve the strategic goals You • A NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC, at least 5 years’ recent practice in an inpatient wards • Expert level (circle 4) on PDRP or equivalent • Post-graduate qualification in nursing or a related field e.g.; management • Excellent communication skills • Proven practice in a nursing leadership abilities function e.g., shift coordinator, team leader, functions that provide direction and delegation, people management etc. • Proven practice and capability in operational management and leadership abilities within a surgical hospital environment The Package • Excellent income is available, plus PDRP • Monday to Friday – 8 hrs rostered shifts • Free parking • Planned Christmas and New year break To be considered for this position, please send an updated resume through to Dee Das by clicking apply now.
