As custodian to some of the most iconic venues in T?maki Makaurau Auckland including The Civic, Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, Bruce Mason Centre, Queens Wharf and Aotea Square, Auckland Live is the home of performing arts and entertainment in Auckland. We present the best of national and international performing arts, conventions, meetings, and entertainment, as well as a range of community-focused programmes that contribute to Auckland being a culturally vibrant city for all.
He angit?tanga: The opportunity:
As a Producer within the Programme Development team, you will be at the centre of the action, working with colleagues right across Auckland Live to plan and deliver a diverse range of projects. If you are the kind of person who thrives on engaging with artists from both community and professional backgrounds, who enjoys the challenge of having multiple projects on the go and who can keep their cool under pressure, then we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include:
   » Planning and delivery of events and programmes through a detailed event end to end process
   » Contributing to the marketing, audience development and publicity requirements of projects and events.
   » Developing and managing project budgets.

We are seeking for a highly energetic, highly organised self-starter who is passionate about turning ideas into reality and is a positive team player. The prosperous applicant will have strong expertise of the creative sector within Aotearoa, and practice in producing theatre projects is highly desirable.
