An exciting opportunity in a dynamic Crown entity awaits the right candidate for a permanent position in the M?ori Health results (MHO) team in the Health Quality and Safety Commission. The Commission is committed to ensuring that M?ori health equity and advancement knowledge and capcapability is embedded across the organisation. The M?ori health results team’s purpose is to ensure that the Commission plays its part in the healthcare system to accelerate M?ori health results. The prosperous candidate will be focused on supporting the provision of high-quality advice across the organisation by facilitating and using matauranga, kaupapa and tikanga M?ori within the everyday responsibilities of the Commission. Enabling access to expert knowledge on knowledge the evidence base and determinants of positive M?ori health results, M?ori research and evaluation methodologies and co-design models is key to this function. To be considered for this function the ideal candidate will have strong connections with iwi, M?ori health and community networks, to actively inform, support and challenge our approaches to quality improvement activities, given our priority to advance M?ori health results.
