This role combines the responsibilities of managing the business aspects of our facility with a strong focus on maintaining and improving the quality of care provided to our residents. As the Business and Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our facility, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the well-being of our elderly residents. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Budget development and management Revenue generation and cost control Financial reporting and analysis Operational Leadership: Supervision of staff Compliance with regulatory requirements Quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Resident and Family Relations: Building strong relationships with residents and their families Addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and compassionately Team Development: Hiring, training, and development of staff Creating a positive and inclusive work culture Conducting performance evaluations Community Engagement: Promote the facility's services to potential residents and their families Maintain positive relationships with local healthcare providers and agencies Requirements: Management-level experience in the hospitality, aged care, or healthcare industries Strong financial and business acumen including P&L's. Preference will be given to candidates who are registered New Zealand nurses with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC), but this is not a mandatory requirement. Outstanding abilities in customer relationship management and people leadership.
