As an Arts and Culture Programmer, we want you to help shape, develop and deliver the programmes that engage with the community right through from inception to exhibition or show. As part of this you'll be responsible for engaging with local networks, artists and creative Aucklanders and community groups alike, and will utilise your passion for the arts to shape creative programmes. This will be across both the North West and South Auckland. He k?rero m?u: About you You'll have developed and maintained an consciousness of contemporary arts and culture, public programmes and event production, and will understand best practice and current and forthcoming trends locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. You'll be able to demonstrate nationally-recognised curatorial and/or programming skills in at least one discipline, audience segment or delivery channel within arts and culture, and Information technology would be advantageous if this were within the performing arts space. We'd like to see leadership abilities of creative portfolios or programmes, combined with the capability to balance the high creative with community needs. You'll also be comfortable working in a high-pressure multidisciplinary environment.
