Machine OperatorLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Engineering > Manufacturing » Full time permanent role » Amazing perks and benefits for employees! » Day and Night Shifts available As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of glass-based products. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to follow instructions, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Some of your key responsibilities will include: » Operating machinery safely and efficiently, while adhering to all health and safety protocols » Conducting quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards » Troubleshooting machinery problems and making adjustments as needed » Completing production reports and other administrative tasks as required The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: » Experience working in a fast-paced production industry » Knowledge of health and safety protocols » Strong mechanical aptitude » Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions » Strong communication skills » Ability to work independently and as part of a team » Willingness to work day or night shifts Benefits » A salary of $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience » An opportunity for career advancement within the organization » Internal and external training to help you achieve higher skill levels Please note to be considered for this role you must either be a NZ Citizen, NZ Resident or have a valid work visa.
