As a contemporary university AUT delivers a unique student practice, providing an education that is active, stimulating and transforming.
Brand and Marketing Services works with an integrated approach, characterised by staff who are subject matter experts, passionate and enthusiastic for what they do and how they do it. The division is committed to partnering with other University business units to develop and evolve strategies to improve AUTs student engagement and recruitment, and as a result achieve the Division’s strategic objectives.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic, articulate and highly organised person to join our Future Students Enquiries and Advisory team. The Future Student Advisor – M?ori is responsible for the promotion of AUT through engaging with prospective students, both school leaver and mature, by providing course counselling services and supporting recruitment activity on behalf of the university. They will have a strong focus on empowering and enabling tauira M?ori and their wh?nau to pursue higher education, in a way that is mana-enhancing and reflective of their values.
The prosperous candidate will have:
   » An knowledge of te ao M?ori
   » A strong customer service focus with an knowledge of the student journey
   » capability to communicate persuasively and effectively to a range of people
   » An knowledge of the secondary and tertiary sectors is beneficial
