Our mission is to give effect to the status of te reo M?ori as an official language, to promote te reo M?ori as an ordinary means of communication and as a living language, and to lead the coordination of the implementation of Te Maihi Karauna. We aim to create an environment where iwi and M?ori through Te Maihi M?ori can succeed and where the State Sector, private sector and wider community organisations are enabled to help revitalise te reo M?ori. We want all New Zealanders to value the M?ori language as part of who we are, what makes us a nation and is a living language for everyone to enjoy and celebrate - everywhere, every way, everyone and every day. We are seeking for people with the strategic drive and passion for te reo M?ori to come join us in leading the coordination of implementing Te Maihi Karauna (Crown M?ori Language Strategy). Team Leader Corporate Services – Permanent As the Team Leader, Corporate Services you are accountable for leading and managing the Corporate Services Team. This team delivers human resources, organisational projects and programme management tools, information technology (IT), information management (IM) and business needs services that support the effective delivery of organisational support to each ohu and project team. Reporting to the Director Corporate Service you will: » Manage the portfolios, day to day operations and logistics of the Corporate Services Team » Ensure the provision of high quality corporate services support to the organisation and external stakeholders and; » Lead your team providing coaching and support to improve performance and enhance capcapability. You will approach your work in a project management style looking for opportunities to increase your skill base. You will work in unison with your peers to support the achievement of wider integrated strategic objectives which supports and contributes to the revitalisation of te reo M?ori. Team Leader Te Amo – Permanent As the Team Leader, Te Amo you are responsible for providing a nurturing, empowering and safe work environment where ohu members are supported to achieve their work goals. The Team Leader will express and implement the Oranga framework to maintain and enhance the well-being of kaimahi. Reporting to the Director Policy and Development you will be primarily responsible for: » Planning » Directing and leading kaimahi » everyday management of kaimahi » Motivating kaimahi » The evaluation of kaimahi and; » Human resource management of the team. You will approach your work in a project management style looking for opportunities to increase your skill base. You will work in unison with your peers to support the achievement of wider integrated strategic objectives which supports and contributes to the revitalisation of te reo M?ori.
