We have permanent opportunities for Senior Service Designers to join the Planning Design and Assurance Group within the Service Delivery and Operations branch At Service Delivery and Operations, we are the face of DIA. Whether we're helping to register births, deaths or marriages, or assisting in passport applications, community grants or civil union and name change registrations, we're dedicated to serving the needs of New Zealanders. As a Senior Service Designer, your key function is leading and delivering customer-centred design across our full range of services including life events; citizenship and identity related services as well as charities services and community operations. To be prosperous in this function, you will need a senior level of practice and demonstrated capcapability in: » leading and supporting service designers and advisors in the delivery of service design related work and activities across projects and initiatives » delivering evidence-located service design - to inform decision-making and make sure services are designed and developed around the needs of people who use them » a collaborative working style with business analysts, subject matter experts, architects and developers to design, develop and implement customer practice improvements and changes to services » key service design expertise at a senior level - customer/user research, journey mapping, identifying and using insights to develop innovative services, workshop facilitation, wire-framing, prototype development and testing, uscapability testing » the capability to plan and manage assigned service design work and activities (for yourself and others) » prosperous and timely delivery against challenging timeframes.
