This project is underway and due to be completed in 2023 (with possible extension). The project is a prison development and involves building several new structures as the current site is being re-developed. As a core part of the team located on the ground you will work with stakeholders in Wellington, external contractors and a team onsite as well. The culture is inclusive and collaborative with strong partnerships at their core. The Job An practiced Project Manager, you will deliver projects on time, in full, meeting budget and timeframe markers. • Managing multiple projects concurrently; there are several small and large buildings and structures on the agenda • leadership abilities of all project deliverables • Work alongside the design, architectural, engineering, councils and construction sub-contractors to ensure projects progress on time • Subcontractor site management • Procurement and tender engagement • Control all variations, defects and providing solutions • Proactive communication and reporting to the Programme Manager and stakeholders • Some national travel is required on an ad hoc basis The income on offer is competitive, We are seeking for the right person and will pay for practice. expertise & practice • practiced construction/building project manager who has a strong technical expertise of the entire building process; start to finish.
