My Client and the function:
Michael Chhim and Peter Campbell are assisting a high-profile Government department in recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant.  You will be reporting to Financial Controller.

The Senior Financial Accountant is responsibility for delivering the following:
• Responsible for maintaining fixed asset register including capitalisations, WIP,  disposals, projects and depreciation
• Deliver quality financial accounting support to internal customers
• Provide support and advice to the FC
• Provide support  to the Procurement Team to deliver procurement activities, mainly in relation to leases
.
Ideal candidate will have:
CA or equivalent qualification
A sound knowledge of public sector financial management
Effective communication expertise - the capability to translate robust financial advice to those with varying levels of financial capcapability is critical
Passion for customer service, continuous improvement and working collaboratively.
