Wellington is a lively city with a thriving cultural life, talented people, cutting-edge businesses, and a busy centre of government. Arts, culture and creativity are important to Wellingtonians and give us a strong sense of identity. Council has adopted theAho Tini 2030 - Arts, Culture and Creativity Strategythat is designed to further support the arts and the artists in the Capital and we are hiring! The strategy aims to build on our rich cultural traditions and identity of our capital city - Information technology focuses on access and inclusion in the arts sector, higher visibility of Ng? There are three positions who will form the backbone of the new Creative Capital team:

   » Programme Manager Aho Tini
As part of the Creative Capital leadership abilities team, the Aho Tini programme manager will drive, coordinate and supervise the delivery of the Aho Tini strategy and its related programmes of work. We're looking for a passionate and innovative leader to work across Council & with our external partners to bring Aho Tini to life. You will be both highly strategic and intentional in your approach and have a strong focus on execution and impactful delivery.
In the first instance, you'll be captivated by the opportunity to deliver the partnership at the heart of Aho Tini between the Council and the creative sector for the benefit of Wellingtonians. And you'll have the practice, background and a wide frame of reference to bring this into being.
We are interested in hearing from people with practice in a similar senior function in shaping up and managing large programmes of work across multiple organisations. You will bring significant practice in applying, programme management tools, practices and processes - including project planning, budget management, programme reporting, risk management and assurance. Bringing stakeholders together, establishing partnerships, influencing positive results, and facilitating collaborative relationships are just some of the hallmarks of your success in previous functions. Drawing on the city's strengths and traditions of creativity, Aho Tini reflects on what the generations before us have laid down and charts a course for the future. If this would get you jumping out of bed each day, then let's chat!
