The farm milks 580 thru a 40 a side herringbone cow shed with automatic cup removers. Calving will start in the first week of August so the ideal person would start by that time. The job will entail all things dairy, from milking to feeding calves, fencing to weed control. Some farm practice would be an advantage but not essential. There is the potential to take on a couple as a neighbouring farm is also requiring a worker, and the couple could live together but work on neighbouring farms. Work Will be around 50 hours per week. Located in the beautiful Mackenzie district, close to the mountains and lakes, skiing, tramping, hunting and fishing, you name it! Accommodation is shared accommodation located off farm but a vehicle will be supplied to get to work. Skills:
