About Te Puna Kaupapahere and Business Support Our group is responsible for whole-of-system, end-to-end policy integration covering early learning, compulsory schooling, and tertiary including Maori medium, te reo Maori, Pacific and Learning Support. Our group provides policy support for all of Te Tahuhu. We work to develop strong internal relationships as well as working closely with other central education agencies and other parts of the government. We use high quality research and evidence of what works and are informed by knowledge held by Te Mahau. We work with Te Mahau and are informed by Te Puna Ohumahi Matauranga – Education Workforce for all our implementation plans for policy. Te Puna Kaupaphere has five policy groups working on various aspects of our work programme. Our groups are the office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS), Tertiary, System and Schooling, Ed System Investment, Maori, Pacific and Wellbeing and International. Sitting in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, the Business Support team provides significant proactive support to Tier two, three and four managers. From recruitment assistance, machinery of government management, inbox and calendar oversight, logistics and procurement. All of the supports that help a busy policy group operate and meet the demands of a busy work programme. About this function We’re in need of a passionate and highly skilled Personal adjunct. The function provides the traditional PA supports of pro-active administrative and secretariat assistance to members of our Tier three leadership abilities team along with reactive re-organising as deadlines, diaries and deliverables shift. About you We are seeking for someone who’s passionate about making a difference and values people over processes. You’ll be expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders and display the wisdom to be both strategic and tactful when Information technology comes to getting the mahi done.
