You will work alongside the Logistics Manager and with the wider Festival team to help deliver a prosperous 2022 Festival.The Logistics team is responsible for the management and delivery of artist travel, accommodation, scheduling, manaakitanga and hospitality during the Festival. ** A full and clean drivers license and confidence driving passengers in cars and vans will be required and is essential in this function.** The Festival requires all people participating in, working on or experiencing our events to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination when requested. We are seeking for Somebody with a minimum of 18 months administration, logistics, producing and/or arts administration practice. The function is part of the Programming team at the Festival and all team members must be cool under pressure, love variety and up for the challenges and compensates of working in a Festival context. The key capabilities of the function are: Team work - contribute to the team by working closely, constructively, creatively and confidently as a member of the programming team and work closely with the Logistics Manager in order to prosperously coordinate the artists and companies who are contracted to execute at the 2022 Festival. Logistics and Planning - a head for logistics and will be required to assist in the coordination of a large amount of information related to artists during the Festival. This includes managing their schedules, travel, accommodation, rehearsal, performance, ground transport and any other significant requirements for artists. Excellent problem-solving expertise are essential to this function. Relationship - demonstrate emotional intelligence in order to relate to a wide variety of people and personalities. Working closely with artists requires a positive attitude, diplomacy and discretion at all times. Administration - the capability to multitask under pressure, coordinate a large amount of information, and meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail is important. Hospitality / manaakitanga - you will be one of the main contacts for artists on the ground at the Festival, respectfully assisting with their requirements including greeting at the airport, driving artists and providing them with essential information for their stay. Professionalism - remaining level-headed and juggling competing priorities in this deadline-driven function is important.
