Apply for the 2022 Artist in Residence opportunity

Each year we select an artist to live and work in an Auckland regional park. The Artist in Residence creates new work influenced in some way by the park, which we share with the public.

About the Artist in Residence opportunity

We established this residency to reveal often overlooked and undervalued aspects of our parks through the artist's eye.
Selected artists live and work in a regional park for eight weeks and respond to and evoke that place in their work. Art created is returned to where Information technology was made and shared with park visitors and the public.
Read theInformation for candidates to lgain more about eligibility, selection criteria, conditions and more.
Lgain about the residency practice from the artists' perspective by watching videos fromprevious Artists in Residence.??
