Tat? atu r? ki te ao hurihuri. ?tea a Rangi is the multi-disciplinary business group led by the Pou Whakatere, Deputy Secretary M?ori, which focuses on supporting the Ministry of Justice to deliver improved justice results for M?ori. ?tea a Rangi is the Ministry’s te ao M?ori policy, capcapability, and relationships r?p?. ?tea a Rangi has a function in supporting the Ministry to improve its capcapability in te ao me m?tauranga M?ori, in order to conceive, design and implement effective interventions to make a difference for M?ori and all New Zealanders. This is a chance to use your advisory practice, machinery of government expertise, and commitment to M?ori aspirations and wellbeing to contribute to a busy work programme. He k?rero m? ng? t?ranga nei – About the functions Senior Advisors and Advisors will contribute to developing and maintaining effective, enduring and significant relationships between the Ministry of Justice and with iwi M?ori, to ensure that the Ministry delivers on its Te Tiriti obligations, partners with iwi M?ori to deliver services, and improves justice results for wh?nau, hap? and iwi. » A tertiary degree in a significant field is preferable, also keen to hear from those of you who have equivalent life practice » Competency in Te Reo M?ori and tikanga M?ori and a demonstrable availability to share and learn » The capability to articulate perspectives around te ao M?ori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi » practice engaging with iwi and M?ori organisations, wh?nau, hap? and iwi » Providing written reports and presentation to a high standard, including high levels of accuracy » Strong relationship management expertise Utu ?-tau – income The appointing salaries for these functions will be between $107,540 and $139,211 (for the Senior Advisor functions) and between $81,128 and $104,720 (for the Advisor functions) located on expertise and practice.
