Due to a reshuffle in the kitchen team, We are seeking for some new staff to come on board. Waihi requires skilled kitchen staff with a proven track record of creating and delivering high-quality fare that children love. The kitchen is truly at the heart of the school, especially for boarding students! If you are an practiced chef, cook, or kitchen hand looking for your next opportunity then we’d love to hear from you! Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, job share, or weekends – let’s talk. As a boarding school, the kitchen needs to be staffed 7 days a week during term time, from 7 am to 7 pm. Shift start and finish times are varied, but you would be on a regular roster each week. Key tasks include preparing, cooking, and serving delicious meals and snacks for students and staff, as well as collaborating on menu design.
