A new position, the Head of Organisational Performance has been created to deliver core accountabilities and responsibilities that drive organisational performance, but also honors commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and integrates a te ao M?ori lens across strategic and operational delivery. Te ?hua o Te T?runga – The nature of the position The key purpose of this position is to champion and implement core Toit? Te Whenua strategies in ways that make them real and provide clarity on the overall direction and functions of Toit? Te Whenua. Delivering strategy via a bi-cultural lens, you will be developing and leading an integrated and effective performance function that provides tools and support to the organisation to enable effective planning, prioritisation, accountcapability, delivery, and monitoring. As a senior leader within Toit? Te Whenua you will be accountable for people leadership abilities and the quality work output across the organisational performance framework. Developing and implementing an enhanced business planning approach, you are accountable for defining, measuring, and reporting on the performance. Nurturing the spirit of service to the community, you will be function modelling people leadership abilities and organisational leadership abilities behaviours, promoting inclusion, and demonstrating how Toit? Te Whenua leaders can work together to lift organisational performance. Demonstrating a superior cultural competency, you will have a career built on authentic engagement, able to demonstrate and promote the value of Te Reo me ?na tikanga M?ori in a humble and uplifting way. With direct reports, you will have the skill set, and significant people leadership abilities practice to inspire others to journey with you. Ensuring there are clear priorities and deliverables aligned to the strategy, you will empower your people to manage the delivery of their work in line with that direction, taking them on a journey with you, as you navigate within two (sometimes incongruent) world views. Highly practiced in driving a culture of strong performance through empowering and inspiring others, you will be confident to deviate from the way things have been done in the past and show resilient when having to push back in a ?mana enhancing' way. Valuing diversity of thought and different approaches to achieve solutions, you will work in closely with other senior leaders to drive collaboration, consistency, and performance across Toit? You will be able to demonstrate where you have previously shaped an agile, customer focused function and managed large and complex programmes of work. expertise, knowledge, and practice required for application include: » Significant practice leading performance, strategy, and governance at an organisational level. » broad strategic management practice within an organisation of complexity. » practice integrating bicultural deliverables and skill in shaping and influencing work force change and development. » Past practice working within and implementing operational aspects of Te Ao M?ori. » Fully conversant in the development, implementation, and review of a continuous improvement frameworks. » Exceptional agility, adaptcapability, and comfortable leading and supporting people through times of change and monitoring results from change. » Have demonstrated leading a culture of high performance and collaboration. » Solid people leadership abilities expertise. » Past utilisation of performance tools, measurements, and reports at a senior management level. » A working knowledge of Te Reo me ?na tikanga. » Have practice in a position where you have developed and nurtured relationships with internal and external stakeholders. » The proven capcapability to empower and enhance the mana of others. » Excellent interpersonal and relationship building expertise, with the capability to influence and enable change.
