Each year they provide disability equipment and services to over 100,000 New Zealanders. We have vacancies for an Equipment Specialist in Palmerston North who will champion our client's goals.

The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Specialist to join our close-knit team in Palmerston North. You will be assisting with equipment repair and services in a Warehouse environment.

Reporting to the Team Leader your core responsibilities include:
   » Prepare and despatch equipment;
   » Receive and assess returned equipment;
   » Customer service enquires - face to face and in person
   » Delivery, installation, and setup of equipment
   » Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers;
   » Inventory control/and management of inventory;
   » Ordering and purchasing supplies;
   » Able to prioritise/resource to ensure deadlines of delivery are met;
   » Experience with a stock management system.
About you:
   » Empathetic and strong communication skills;
   » Strong time management/and attention to detail;
   » A team player, who is highly organised;
   » Ability to work unsupervised/and can problem solve;
   » Previous stores experience (lift up to 15kgs)
   » Light engineering skills including welding experience;
   » Experience with fitting and repairing and light fabrication structure;
   » Basic electrical knowledge;
   » Current & clean drivers licence;
   » Can work with computers.
Your strong work ethic, energy, and enthusiasm will be evident in an environment where service delivery to customers is paramount. Hours of work are 8.00/8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We will only be accepting applications from people in New Zealand, with valid working rights.
