Are you ready to lead a dynamic an diverse data collection team?
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and practiced Team Leader to drive a data collection effort in the stunning region of Te Tai Tokerau.
As the Team Leader – Data Collection, you will play a key function in leading a regionally diverse Data Collection team. Your primary focus will be on being a people-centric leader, inspiring, coaching, and directing a collaborative team of up to 20 members (mix of field staff and phone operators) to collect important and concise data that improves lives today and for generations to come.
You will bring to the function established connections across the rohe and an capability to help foster significant and sustainable relationships with iwi, hap? and hapori.
We value diverse practices and skills gained both in and outside the workplace, including cultural, community work, sports, volunteering, or comparable functions in different sectors or industries. Your capability to inspire and lead a high performing team will be highly valued.
Ideally, you will bring the practice and capability to demonstrate:
   » Exceptional leadership abilities skills, with strong problem-solving skills and the capability to empower individual team members to achieve their goals.
   » Be responsible for data collection practices within a multi-skilled team, managing escalations, audits, training, coaching and performance.
   » Take responsibility for the health, safety, and wellbeing management of your team.
   » Cultural consciousness alongside an knowledge of Te reo me ?na tikanga M?ori.
   » Proven skills in managing both team and individual performance and fostering capcapability development.
   » Outstanding communication and reporting skills.
   » At least 5 years of current leadership abilities and people management practice.
   » consciousness of key legislation pertaining to people leadership abilities, including the Employment Relations Act and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
   » Computer literacy and capability work with various Information technology applications.
   » Availcapability to travel domestically as needed, reliable internet access, a valid driver’s license, and a fully insured, dependable vehicle for work purposes (to withstand Te Tai Tokerau roads).
