The adjunct Prison Director function is a key site leadership abilities position responsible for leading and managing the development and delivery of services related to rehabilitation, learning and employment services and opportunities for people in our care. The position is expected to support the Prison Director by leading an integrated and unified approach to service delivery across the range of services we provide to achieve the outcome of reducing re-offending and safer communities. At Manawatu Prison, we have a strong focus on the education of the men in our care. Our aim is to develop road maps for each of these men to meet their education needs which will positively impact on their rehabilitation and capability to reintegrate into the community. With this in mind, We are pursuing applications from people with a strong focus on education and learning. Part of the function will be chairing, and providing advice to, advisory and multi disciplinary panels. In addition, you will manage our Industries Team, our Learning and Interventions Team and our Case Management function.
