Their projects include mixed use office and retail developments, retirement villages, warehousing, refurbishments and high volume residential. They run a high performing business and have a great team culture with long standing staff. They are now looking for a driven and motivated commercially minded estimator that is interested in becoming a part of this company's future contributing to the profit targets and setting out overall direction. Working with the commercial manager, the key focus of the function is to assist in managing the tendering and estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion, the function requires precision estimating knowledge margins and quality tendering. Areas of responsibility include, analysing information for the preparation and presentation of tender projects, attending meetings, identifying opportunities for growth and evaluating the practiccapability of these opportunities, process improvement, and ensuring quality. this function while primarily estimating has opportunity to execute post contract quantity surveying tasks. In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 8 years of estimating practice across a range of commercial builds as well as knowledge of the local market, knowledge rates and commercial construction legislation. You possess a significant tertiary qualification.
