As Senior Advisor Policy and Practice you will be responsible for supporting practice development; programme development and new programme initiatives. this function will have a particular focus on the H?pai Hapori flagships of Oranga Marae/marae development and community-led development and on new initiatives that build on both of these kaupapa.
To be prosperous in this function, you will have:
   » Strong knowledge of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and M?ori Crown relationships
   » Knowledge and knowledge of hap? led development and Tiriti located practice
   » Strong knowledge of community-led development practice
   » capability to work with, and develop services for M?ori, Pacific peoples and other ethnic communities
   » practice in building capcapability to improve practice and service delivery
   » Excellent written and oral communication, and strong relationship development expertise
   » knowledge of evaluation and practice in delivering programme/business improvements initiatives
You should also have:
   » The capability to plan, organise and manage work effectively to meet multiple deadlines
   » The capability to rapidly adapt in a fast paced and changing environment.
   » practice in a grant making practice
   » practice facilitating workshops and hui
