Do you want to wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the waters of the Abel Tasman? We are seeking for a fun hard-working person(s) who is looking to have an awesome time right at the start of the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. The work will be housekeeping and keeping the hostel tidy, keeping the grounds maintained and odd jobs around the place. 1. We provide your accommodation - you must be available to work 3 hours a day, up to 5 days a week (15 hours a week) for $18.90 hour (gross). Under the new Government rules this is a paid job, working 15 hours per week, (@ $18.90 + 8% holiday pay) so you must already hold a valid Working Holiday Visa and have an IRD number. This is a live in-position staying in a shared dorm/cabin and your accommodation and expenses are $271.25 per week which will be deducted from your weekly pay which is the equivalent of the old rule working for accommodation, so you WILL NOT RECEIVE A WAGE but you will not be out of pocket. This is an onsite function where the amount worked covers full time accommodation, internet access, laundry facilities, parking , and discounts for local activities in the Abel Tasman, such as Aqua Taxi trips, Kayaking and Skydiving.
