We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Mechanist - Fitter/Turner who has a background in engineering and is looking for a new challenge! This is a challenging but highly rewarding role and is the ideal role for someone who is technically minded and thrives in an environment where there is a high level of technical tasks to be completed on a daily basis.

This role is Monday to Friday, Penrose-based role with 40 hours of work to be completed between 6 am and 6 pm, as part of this role your main duties will include:
   » The machining and fitting of the company's products to the specified requirements
   » Cleaning of the tools, equipment and work areas
   » Machine and tool maintenance
   » Setting guides, stops and other controls for tools and setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools
   » Working on sites as required

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
   » Excellent communication skills
   » Have a high level of work, and complete tasks to the highest standards
   » Have the ability to follow set procedures and routines
   » Be able to manage your time well, and complete tasks in a timely manner
   » The ability to move materials, along with spending long periods working on your feet
   » The ability to effectively assess the quality of any finished product and provide solutions where required
