We have a great opportunity for a capable and dedicated professional to join our team on a fixed term, part time basis to ensure a continuous education resource is available to Hospice clinical staff while we reconfigure our education unit.The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is an expert in Palliative Care and Professional Development. The function is responsible for identifying education needs, provision of professional development in response to those identified needs and function modelling best practice in palliative care across the service to the Inpatient unit and Community teams. We will need you to: » Be an practiced professional development manager » Be an excellent communicator, highly organised with skills in facilitation and nursing competency assessment. » Have a strong interest in professional development of staff working in inpatient and community services. » Possess appropriate post graduate qualifications with broad practice in palliative care.
