Payroll AdministratorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Accounting > Payroll » Temp role - ongoing » Work location: Auckland Central » Potential to go permanent About the Roles Responsible for processing time attendance and payroll records in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policy and legislative requirements. Australia - in accordance with Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman New Zealand - in accordance with IRD, KiwiSaver, ACC Develop strong relationships with the workforce and manage client expectations in relation to the delivery of payroll services. Responsibilities include: » Process payroll each pay cycle. » Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information. » Ensure all payroll input and maintenance has appropriate authorisation and is accurately processed and in timely manner by pay cycle. » Identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records. » Timely administration and distribution of payslips. » Completes payroll reports for contract or managerial review. » Manage payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner and resolve within agreed service level timeframes. » Diligent management and tracking of payroll ticketing system on daily basis » Effective and timely management of recovery of overpayments for active and terminated employees, ensuring phone calls and communications are made upon identification of overpaid wages or salary. » Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal legislation and requirements, EBAs and employee contracts. Skills and Experience » Sound experience in end-to-end payroll processing. » Preferred experience in the use of SAP payroll. » Computer literate with strong skills in Excel, Word and Email, sound knowledge of Internet applications. » High level of attention to detail, initiative, analytical and problem-solving skills. » Ability to maintain confidentiality. » Self-management and prioritising - excellent organisational / time management skills. » Excellent customer service skills with focus to increase customer satisfaction through implementation of higher value standards. » Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently both written and verbal communication. » Flexible attitude to working hours and possible requirement to work additional hours to meet payroll deadlines and demand.
