Primarily we are after someone who is exemplary at building relationships,is shareholder-focused,and has a verifiable track record of creating value in a comparative leadership abilities function. Because the focus of the Board is on profitablycapturing dramatically greater market share,you will need to be aligned in your thinking - and demonstratesignificantpractice through your previous functions. In addition, you will need broad commercial practice, and exhibit strongfinancialacumen related to thelisted environment. C-suitepractice in a listed business is preferred, and substantial practice building quality revenue is absolutely essential.
It would be ideal if you had practicein acquisitions and integration, in addition todriving organic growth through relationships and lateral thinking. A expertise of the health system in New Zealand and its constituent parts and relationships will be very valuable. .

You'll stay on top ofall of the normal requirements of a business, know what you know and what you don't know, and obtain advice from appropriate people suchas the Board, CFO orother advisors as andwhen needed.
An innate disposition that everything be done properly to high quality standards, is required.
