The Company
This company is a market leader in the logistics export industry. They employ 1000+ people across New Zealand with the head office in Tauranga and staff at all the major ports around the country. From a payroll perspective its certainly and interesting environment with different collective agreements and compensation for different staff.
 
The function :
We require a payroll administrator whose got the practice to pick up all the different things payroll can entail.The tasks in this function include:
   »  Processing weekly and monthly payroll cycles, which includes multiple collective employment agreements and variations
   »  Data entry, noting adjustments related to leave, time in motion, rostering and other deductions
   »  Working with Managers and supporting them with all payroll enquires
   »  Using Chris21 software

Our ideal is someone who can work 8am – 4.30pm, Mon-Fri, however there is flexibility for the right person.

We are seeking for someone who is a good team player and problem solver. expertise of NZ Payroll legislation would be great and you’ll also be proven picking up new systems and processes quickly. You’ll be a pragmatic thinker who communicates well.
