M? te t?nga | About the function
The Development Partner will lead a team of seven and is the trusted advisor to our senior regional leadership abilities team on the cultural capcapability of their workforce and the strategic development of that capcapability. The function will develop and work to a regional capcapability plan but will also focus effort on leading and supporting significant culture change in the way our new and existing workforce and managers will assess expertise and access learning solutions.
We’re looking for a leader practiced in cultivating a continuous learning culture through values led leadership abilities. Working alongside our team to provide a holistic view of support for practice, education and development of all service groups. If you have the leadership abilities courage to challenge the status quo and apply creative thinking to find solutions for our region, this function is for you!
Alongside providing advice and support to senior regional leadership abilities on capcapability gaps and solutions you will also build a motivated and proactive team that influences regional learning culture. Working closely with the People, Practice and Capcapability teams, you will provide best practice support and training solutions to all service groups, enabling a collaborative and proactive approach to solutions and advice.

   » Previous and proven practice in leading a diverse team & coaching others
   » Highly developed communication expertise - able to effectively communicate complex issues to a range of stakeholders and audiences
   » capability to engage and inspire our leaders during a time of transformational change
   » Sound knowledge and up to date knowledge of significant research, theories and principals of leadership abilities and learning and development
   » High level of comfort in working with technology and delivery of training using modern technologies
   » Able to analyse complex data to produce clear reports and plans
   » Service focussed - able to understand the needs of our leaders and to meet those needs
It will be a given that you have an knowledge of differing worldviews and cultural capcapability as this function will be focused on ensuring learning solutions which support the essence of our strategy H?kai Rangi.
