About us
Te Tari Taake -Inland Revenue plays a critical function in improving the economic and social policy wellbeing of New Zealanders. We do this by collecting and distributing money, collecting 80% of the Crown's revenue, and collecting and distributing social support payments.
Mahi me te P?rongo Performance and reporting
Mahi me te P?rongo -Performance and Reporting is part of the wider Tiakitanga Kohinga Rautaki – Strategic Portfolio Stewardship group thatbrings together our performance & reporting, portfolio management, enterprise risk, and investment & benefits enterprise capabilities.
Performance and Reporting are responsible for:
   » Ensuring a fit-for-purpose Performance Measurement Framework and underlying performance measures.
   » Managing Inland Revenue's external and internal accountcapability documents including the delivery of high-quality annual and quarterly reports.
   » Presenting information and insights to assist senior leaders with decisions on performance and prioritisation.
   » Delivering robust results and analysis that meet external reporting requirements.
The team consists of a Domain Lead, Domain Principals, Domain Specialists, and Analysts who review, develop and report on performance measures, proactively support Inland Revenue's performance, ensuring alignment between performance measures, investment benefits, and the active management of performance risks.
About the function
We are pursuing aKait?tari -Analyst (Level 2)to join theMahi me te P?rongo-Performance & Reportingteam to:
   » Support the Domain Lead with our external and internal reporting accountabilities including the delivery of our Annual Report and quarterly reports to the Minister of Revenue, key product reporting, and our monthly reporting to senior leaders.
   » Support the team to provide information and advice on business performance and opportunities to improve organisational delivery against strategic goals and to optimise overall performance.
   » Maintain strong collaborative relationships with Inland Revenue's analytical community and other key stakeholders.
   » Support the team's performance by identifying opportunities to improve how and what we deliver.
About you
   » Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL (essential) and SAS.
   » practice with Data Visualisation Tools.
   » Curiosity and a desire to add value for our team's stakeholders.
   » expertise of performance measure development processes, along with practice in supportingand delivering performance reporting at organisation or product level.
   » Excellent written and oral communication expertise with practice in analysing and presenting complex information in an easy-to-understand, concise and significant way.
   » Comfort and practice in engaging with multi-disciplinary teams and sharing expertise and practice to help grow overall team capcapability.
