Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will establish the foundations for the addition of a new night shift which will run from 11:00pm to 6:30am, five nights a week. This is a role with great variety, and will include (but is not limited to): » Providing leadership and coaching to team members to manage their performance, development & growth » Understanding the daily production plan and allocating resource with the intention to ensure that delivery dates are met » Getting amongst the departments and participating actively as a team member when required » Conducting and leading team meetings and other communications to ensure the company achieves as one unit » Championing & implementing best practice initiatives to lead a culture of safety first in all aspects of the operation » Ensuring staff members are adequately trained and proficient in their tasks » Ensuring product quality is fit for purpose and that it meets/exceeds customer expectations In return for your skills and experience our client offers a supportive environment & competitive salary.
