To support this implementation from a finance perspective, an opportunity has become available for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a lead function in ensuring the smooth delivery of the GL Project. Working closely with the Head of Finance, as well as a range of senior internal and external stakeholders, key deliverables will include: » Monitor project deadlines and schedules to ensure all tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner. » Articulate User Stories with detail including acceptance criteria and basic test scenarios. » Responsible for conducting acceptance testing and training of business and finance teams to prosperously use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics application. » Responsible for ensuring future processes are fully documented for the new General Ledger system. » Cross-functional engagement to ensure change management adoption is smoothly delivered. » Responsible for coordinating training plans and the setup of training sessions to ensure end users are fully trained. » Perform Senior Financial Analyst activities as required » Work with the IFRS 17 project team on the integration requirements with the General Ledger. We would be very keen to hear from interested candidates who have prior practice in a similar function, including previous involvement in a General Ledger implementation project / digital projects. Information technology is likely you will have a strong background in finance as well as strong problem-solving expertise with the capcapability to break down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes. Financial services industry exposure as well as practice of utilising systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or MS FinOps, Dynamics CRM/365 CE, Azure, SQL, Data lake, etc, will be very highly regarded. Your excellent problem solving, process improvement, and capability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships will be key to your success in this pivotal function. this function is being recruited as a fixed-term contract until Q2 2022.
