This is an exciting opportunity to work across all areas of machinery of government and develop an knowledge of how ACC supports New Zealanders and work with other organisations. On a day to day basis you’ll be preparing high quality and timely responses to at times complex and sensitive requests for information, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to help you do this. What we’re looking for from you to be prosperous: » A smart influencer who’s great at communicating and connecting across an organisation » You’ll be able to juggle conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines » Preferable machinery of Government practice » The capability to quickly form and maintain strong working relationships with other business groups and be confident to approach a wide variety of stakeholders » Excellent oral and written communication expertise » practice in report and business writing » An knowledge of statutory interpretation With this function, you will get to use and build on your legislative knowledge and build on your natural analytical expertise. A bit about us The Government Engagement and Support team works with all teams across ACC to: » effectively deliver support services to the Minister and Associate Minister for ACC » proactively, and responsively, manage Official Information Requests, Select Committee processes and Parliamentary questions » support ACC’s engagement with, and involvement in, cross government initiatives. An attractive income $68k – $79k depending on practice,plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies.
