   » advice and guidance
   » support to regional staff
   » contracting of service providers to raise participation and quality
   » clarifying interpretations and determine impacts on new legislation
   » translating policy into practice.
Do you want to make a difference for Pacific Early Learning Services?
this function sits within the Early Childhood Regulations and Planning team and you will work closely with other teams including Strategy and Implementation, Regional ECE Education Advisers and Pacific Engagement Advisers.
Your focus will be to support and enable Pacific Early Learning Services, working with Pacific organisations and groups. Key activities include delivering on the Government’s Budget 2020 Pacific initiatives and COVID-19 Response and Recovery.
We have great people who bring enthusiasm, energy and intellectual curiosity. We work in a fast-paced environment. That’s code for, there’s always a lot to do! So, you will also be good at planning, prioritising and juggling.
Among the expertise you will bring the following:
   » A tertiary qualification – we want someone who can think critically
   » Strong time management and organisational expertise
   » capability to connect with others, preferably some practice in an education context or working with Pacific providers or non-government organisations
   » capability to get stuff done, demonstrate judgement, consult and seek advice where necessary
